"Wonderful"
Comfy beds and good large bathroom. Staff and lovely and were able to store bags. Breakfast was simple (coffee and bagels) but good way to start the day). Walking distance from the Subway and bus stops located outside the hotel.

Room was clean and a reasonable size. We had 2 x single beds in a suite. Super market close by and walking access to the train station was convenient.

Nice and virtuous stuff, easy check in; loved the minimalistic esthetic of the room! Beds were really comfy, pillows and covers were high quality and shelled really nice (not like a hotel, but more like home wash). Also the room was such high sealing and not stuffy, you could also open the window a bit and enjoy the city view. There is a parking on property which we gladly used. Great location and safe neighborhood, with lots of places to walk to.

Room was clean though the safe never worked the entire time i was there, but to me that's not a deal breaker and everything was sufficient and its a big room. tidy and well looked after.

The kitchen and lounge area were more spacious than I expected and most staff were incredibly friendly toward us! I loved being in this highly Jewish area - even though I am not Jewish - I just appreciated that it took me out of my everyday experience and comfort zone.

The man who checked us in was great. Friendly and welcoming. Offered a room upgrade without us asking as it was available, more hotels should follow that great example as that set us up positively after a long day travelling. Could tell the building was slightly older but I thought the cleaning in comparison was exceptional. Little things like extra toothpastes and mouthwash were perks also. Beds were exceptionally comfortable.

The room is very spacious, which is the best feature, with a kitchen even (no ware though). Coffee and tea available is nice. Neighborhood is calm, residential, yet not far from the center.

+ Only one man in the afternoon shift at the service desk was polite. The rest were very unhelpful and unfriendly. + There was a couch in the room + In conclusion, although the Pointe Plaza belonged to the most affordable hotels in NYC, I would not stay there again. Despite the low price, it did not meet essential and usual hotel standards worldwide.

Very spacious rooms, we liked having a kitchen area in addition to the sleeping room. Great affordable hotel in the area. Very clean, staff welcoming, met all of our expectations or exceeded them. It’s a smaller hotel building but we didn’t mind, we came for a friend’s wedding and had a great time. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning was good, also appreciated the ice machine.
